Notice to property owners in the City of Russell

You are hereby notified that work of cutting or destroying weeds, vines, brush or other growth in accordance with Ordinance 137 is required during the months of May through October, inclusive, and property owners have five days, not including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, within which to comply.  Failure to comply after publication of this notice will cause the work to be done by the city with the fees assessed to the homeowner.  If payment is not made to the city within 10 days the fees will be assessed the homeowner’s property taxes.   Charges will be $75 for the first hour and $75 per hour for each hour thereafter.
