Special Council Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, April 18, 5:45 p.m.

Present:  Duane Bedford, Chris Feehan, Jay Pierschbacher, Terry Newcomb and Casey DeHoedt.  Corey Paige was absent.

Duane Bedford called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Chris Feehan made a motion to approve Resolution 2018-05 fixing date for a meeting on the authorization of a loan agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $75,000 General Obligation Capital Loan Notes of the City of Russell.  Terry Newcomb seconded the motion.

Aye votes:  Terry, Chris, Casey, Jay

Nay votes:  None

The Council began the interviews for the Clerk position.  The Council interviewed five candidates for the clerk position.  The Council agreed to pay the new clerk starting at $13.00 per hour with an increase after a six-month probationary period.

Council was to discuss street work on Smith Street, but tabled this until next council meeting on May 7.

Terry made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8 p.m. and Chris seconded the motion.
