Finn Carroll, 10, son of Devon and Ashley Carroll of Russell, was diagnosed
with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March of 2018. Since his diagnoses, he has
been receiving daily treatments at home and visiting Blank Children's Hospital
for monthly treatments.
Earlier this month Finn was granted
a wish through Make A Wish Iowa! Finn's wish was to spend time at Walt Disney
World Florida
Resort with his family. On June 9th,
Finn boarded his first airplane alongside his parents, brother, Trent, and
sister, Aislin. During their trip, they stayed at Give Kids The World Village.
The Carrolls were able to visit seven theme parks in five days! They also took
time to drive to Clearwater Beach so Finn could play in the ocean for the first
time! Finn said that his favorite part of the trip was visiting The Wizarding
World of Harry Potter.
He
continues to do well with his treatments.
